I grew up reading Sweet Valley High as I’m sure many of you did as well. You’ll be happy to know that Sweet Valley High has returned! Author and creator, Francine Pascal, has brought the identical twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield back with Sweet Valley Confidential: Ten Years Later. This time, they are all grown up dealing with love, careers, and sisterhood. How nice it would be to live this dramatic yet beautiful life!
About the book and my thoughts:
Elizabeth heads to New York to become a serious reporter after being betrayed by her twin, Jessica, who remains in California. Read what happened after the big falling out and will the twins ever resolve their conflict? Elizabeth seems to have a hard time working towards forgiveness and is focused on revenge instead. Each page kept me in suspense wondering what was going to happen next. Unfortunately, it seems like the last of the series. The book was a bit hard to follow as each section was written from a different person’s point of view. I recommend catching up with Jessica and Elizabeth though to see what these two have been up to over the years!
