If your kids love Pla-Doh (and what kid doesn’t?), they are bound to love Moon Dough. Parents will love it too because it never dries out. Plus, it is available in all sorts of fun kits like the Moon Dough Magic Zoo. This kit contains:
- 1 Molding Mechanism (Main Unit)
- 3 Wind-up Motors
- 3 Animal Molds
- 3 Bags of Moon Dough
Press the Moon Dough into one of the animal molds then attach it to the main unit. Insert one of the wind up motors into the base then crank the handle. The mold is lowered onto in, inserting it in middle of the mold. Once it reaches the very bottom the molding case opens up and out walks your animal! There is also a fence mold to build a fence to keep your animals corralled. The Moon Dough Magic Zoo set retails for around $20.
My oldest who is 4 had a lot of fun playing with this set (with some help from me). The concept was simple but fun. Jackson thought it was so funny when the cage would open up and his animal creation would come tottering out. It took us a few tries to get the hang of the process but once we figured it out, it was smooth sailing!
