My mom came over this morning and offered to watch my kids. I needed to go out for dishwasher tabs since I we were completely OUT with a full dishwasher and I had forgotten to pict them up at the grocery store last night even though they were at the TOP of my list (ugh!). I took my youngest with me to make it a little easier on my mom. It was nice only having one with me for a change but Parker kept trying to climb out of the cart even though she was strapped in. I lost track of how many people told me how cute she is though. She smiles at everyone 🙂
Anyways, I decided to head to Target since it’s way more fun than the grocery store. I check my Target mobile coupons and discovered there was one for $5 off any women’s denim. I checked out the clearance rack and found a pair of Mossimo denim capris in a somewhat dressy style for only $5.48! I tried them on and they were super cute. Normal price was $21.99 and dare I say I maybe, just maybe would have paid full price for them?! (they were that cute!) For some reason the coupon rang up as “item not found” but the cashier called someone over and they pushed it through. Mossimo jeans are on sale this week for $15 so this coupon would give you a pretty great price on a pair of jeans even if you don’t find any on the clearance rack. In addition to the jeans I picked up:
- A bag of caesar salad
- 2 boxes of kraft macaroni & cheese
- Pantene shampoo
- 2 long sleeved toddler/baby shirts
- dishwasher tabs
- 4 magic erasers
I paid less than $20 and used a gift card. I’d say that was a pretty successful shopping trip!
