The cold and flu season seems to be one of the worst we’ve seen in awhile. Maybe it’s the media and it’s not really as bad as what I have been hearing- who knows. Luckily, so far our family hasn’t run into anything too horrible yet. I have just started a part time job so my son is in daycare part time. It’s impossible to keep kids from catching the gunk in a childcare setting, not matter how clean it is. Runny noses are abound. One of the classrooms even had a case of H1N1. Personally, I feel like overprotecting our children is a hinderance. If they aren’t exposed to anything, how can they build up important immunities? I’m not one of those moms who will intentionally expose my kids to chicken pox (ever hear of chicken pox parties?) but I’m not going to keep them in a bubble either. I’ve done my part in breastfeeding to pass my immunities onto them and overall they are very healthy children.

we recieved the package of three free products from the company you listed. The next day my daughter got a cold. We tried the cold stopper meds and she LOVED them… however I didn't see any impovement. We did use the cough syrup which smelled JUST like honey, she liked the flavor and it did seem to help her cough. I was skeptical at first but I would for sure buy the cough suyrup again.
For natural remedies we take Vitamin C and Eachanechea, use a nasal rinse of salt water with a little baking soda, cranberry juice is really good too. And we are NOT getting the flu vacines, 1. they only target certain strains so you can still get the flu, just another kind and 2. several relatives have got them and then immediatley got the flu from the vaccine. No thanks – I don't need a poke in the arm for that!
