The holidays are definitely baking season at my house. I think the majority of us cook and eat more during the holidays that any other time of year! Carol has rounded up some cookbooks (and an accessory!) you might want to add to your collection this holiday season:
Recipe Rock – This thing is sturdy! The ball detaches and is a magnet and just clips papers right to the base. Works fantastic at keeping my recipes up and off the counter which gives me more room to cook in my small apartment kitchen. You can tell this thing is not made cheaply. It can hold up to 10 pages easily. I love it.
Spongebob Kitchen Mission Cookbook – My Son and I were excited for this cookbook. We both went through the entire book and had a great time looking at all the yummy recipes, not to mention all of the Spongebob characters. We made the “Neptune Nachos” and they were so yummy! Almost like a taco salad. The next recipe on my list to make from this cookbook is the Krabby Patties. It’s a dessert in this cookbook, but oh buddy. They look yummy! This cookbook gets kids interested in cooking with a lot of things to learn about food. It also has a difficulty level for each recipe.
