 Archives.com and WhitePages are running a “Run and Hug” contest through December 21st with a chance to win one of two all expense paid trips for two family members to reunite.  The holidays are all about coming together with family near and far.  Do you have a favorite memory of a long lost relative?  Share it and If your story receives the most votes, you’ll win the trip!  You’ll be able to use it to reconnect with your family member during the holiday season.  You’ll also win $1000 cash to make your trip extra special.  Cash prizes of $500 and $200 will also be awarded to the runner-up and second runner-up. All top ten contestants will receive year-long subscriptions to Archives.com to further explore their family history.

Here are more details:

• Must be 18 or older
• Submit a 500 or less story about your favorite memory of a long lost relative you’d like to be reunited with along with a photo of your relative, the actual memory or even your family crest.
• Alternatively, you may submit a video testimonial
• Once your story/video is approved it will be open for the public to vote on
• Share your store via email, Facebook & Twitter to rack up the votes!
• The contest closes on December 21st, the earlier you submit your entry, the longer you’ll have to get votes
• A winner will be selected and notified by December 25th
• The reunion will take place sometime within the next year
