Frugal Gift Ideas
- Earn amazon gift cards and more with Swagbucks– it’s super easy! See this post for more information.
- Photos make excellent gifts. See the current photo deals HERE.
- Restaurant.com gift certificates or Entertainment books make wonderful family gifts. Right now you can get $5 off and free shipping with the purchase of the 2010 edition Entertainment book. Coupons include lots of local things for families to do like the zoo, children’s museums etc and will save a bundle of money!
- If you do surveys that pay in gift cards, why not use those to purchase gifts or give as gifts? If they are small in value, they’d be perfect in a little gift basket. You can get pretty creative and keep out of pocket money to a minimum. Try putting a $5 or $10 Blockbuster card with some popcorn and candy (that you got free with coupons of course) into a basket from the dollar store. (see survey sites here)
- Visit Abbi’s handmade Christmas Carnival where she will post a new idea each Thursday
- Free downloadable recipe cards, gift tags and more
- Infarrantly Creative is hosting a two-week series called Pennywise Presents. She is featuring a step-by-step tutorial for a handmade inexpensive project everyday
- Make your own gift bows out of recycled materials with this tutorial
- Free holiday gift tags for kids to color
