I love creating photo books online when I have the time. Scrapbooking went out when my first child was born and now that I have three I don’t see that hobby coming back anytime soon. There’s just no space for my “toys” anymore. I still want to create and savor the memories though, so working online is a great alternative. These days all of my photos are digital anyways.
Nero has created some free software to allow you to design and print custom photo books, calendars and greeting cards. It’s called Nero Kwik Media. Move photos from one page to another, resize them, tilt them, even put them in interesting frames. Add clip art from the large available selection if you wish. Just drag and drop, the resize to fit your preference.

I like to create books for each of my children. They love seeing pictures of themselves as babies and will look through them often, always asking questions about “when they were little”. It makes them feel special and helps them remember the important times we’ve spent together. I’ve made books for Father’s Day for my husband, a 50th birthday celebration of life book for my mom and a travel book for my dad. I’m pretty good about making books as gifts but have a hard time keeping up with books for MYSELF! I take too many photos and once I fall behind it makes it seem too overwhelming to catch up.
