Here is a great recipe you can enjoy with Cook’s Ham:

Quick Sit-Down Dinner: As the days get shorter and cooler, nothing satisfies like a good stew. This delicious ham and lentil stew can be started in the morning and left alone while you continue with your day.

Ingredients:

3 cups Cook’s Spiral Sliced Quartered Ham, diced
Ham bone
2 cups sliced celery
2 cups sliced carrots
4 cups water
2 cups dried lentils
1 tablespoon minced garlic
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup sliced onions
2 (10 ½ oz) cans chicken broth

Directions:

In a 3 ½ quarts or larger crock-pot, mix all the ingredients together. Cover the pot and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or low for 7 to 9 hours or until lentils are tender.
