These convenient little laundry detergent capsules are officially launching in February but I got the opportunity to try them already!
What are Purex UltraPacks? Concentrated liquid detergent (Purex Triple Action) encapsulated in a little dissolvable packet.
I have to say, I really did like the convenience of these little gems. At first I didn’t think it would make that much difference but I really liked just being able to grab one or two packs from the bag and tossing them in with the laundry rather than measuring out liquid. Another convenience of this type of product is that since its so concentrated and packaged the way it is, it’s much lighter and easier to carry than a giant jug of laundry detergent. Purex UltraPacks are safe in all types of washing machines including HE front loaders. It’s available in Mountain Breeze scent and Free & Clear (dye & fragrance free). I’m so glad that Purex offers the Free & Clear option as so many people have sensitivities to fragrance and dye.
True to Purex standards, this detergent was effective, smelled great and I am confident will be reasonably priced. I love all the innovative ways that Purex comes up with to make busy lives easier. The PurexUltra packs are right up there with the 3-in-1 laundry sheets!

I can’t wait until these come out. They would be absolutely perfect for my uncle who is blind, and therefore has a hard time with liquid detergent. I haven’t known what to tell him to try until now. Yeah!
Perfect! Has he tried the Purex 3-in-1 sheets? Those have been available for awhile and have the detergent and fabric softener together on one sheet that you just toss in the washer with the clothes and keep it with them when you put them in the dryer to activate the fabric softener portion. I think they’re great!
