Ivory Review & Giveaway

Emmy award-winner Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, Mike & Molly) is the host of Ivory’s new online social community, “the Soap Dish”  Ivory is making an effort to better understand today’s mom’s and recently took a national survey of moms on their thoughts and opinions regarding the reality of everyday life as a wife, mom, daughter and more.  According to the results, 80% of the moms polled felt that motherhood is more complicated today than it was for their own mother’s. At the same time, more than half said that they are better at balancing life as a mom better than their own moms did.  The secret? 66% admitted to hiding in the bathroom to get much needed “me” time.

I was recently offered the opportunity to try three of Ivory’s new body wash soaps: original, aloe and lavender and asked to share which one was my favorite.  Surprisingly, I chose the Lavender formula!  All three formulas had a very mild fragrance.  Normally lavender smells on the medicinal side to me but the Lavender Ivory Body Wash was very pleasant.  All three lathered well and left my skin feeling soft and clean.
