With daylight savings time now in effect, it might be hard to get your kids back on the right schedule. Having a cute clock that cues kids on the proper time to wake might be beneficial. With three kids age 4 and under we are always in varying stages of sleep training (0r retraining). Just today in fact, it dawned on me another way I can use an alarm clock. My four year old often wets the bed. In an effort to teach him to wake to go to the bathroom I began waking him before I go to bed around 11 pm to take him potty. The problem is that I sometimes forget. Those are the nights he has accidents. We are going to try setting the alarm clock every night so he can hopefully go on his own.
What’s one of the biggest parenting complaints? Lack of sleep ranks high on the list. While you may think you’ll be in the clear after infancy, think again. Toddlers and young children are notorious for being early risers, sometimes even in middle of the night. Not only will you lose sleep but if your little ones aren’t getting enough sleep, it can spell disaster. The Babyzoo Sleeptrainer can help. An adorable monkey signals a child by opening and closing it’s eyes. If the Monkey’s eyes are open, it’s time to get up. If it’s eyes are closed it signals the child that they should still be sleeping too. The alarm clock features both digital and analog styles which will help children learn to tell time. An optional alarm clock plays jungle sounds with an adjustable volume and a nightlight that automatically shuts off after 30 seconds rounds out the features on this children’s clock. The Babyzoo Sleep Trainer is available in two colors and retails for around $40.
