Review: Need for Speed Nitro for Nintendo Wii

My son is only two but someday he is going to appreciate his mom’s interest in video games. I can’t wait until he is old enough to play with me. In the meantime, I will keep building my little collection. The latest addition is Need for Speed Nitro for Nintendo Wii. Like the Need for Speed movies, the game is action packed. Each customizable car has it’s own engine sound and sounds awesome on our surround sound system- something my hubby really thought was cool. While racing on each of the 15 tracks was a lot of fun, my favorite part of the game is customizing the cars. You can get really creative choosing your colors and paint job- even applying decals. I could spend hours in the car editor!

The way the game is made makes you really feel like your car is going super fast- it gets your adrenaline pumping! Build up your nitro then punch it when you need a boost to take the lead.

I’ve never played the other games in the Need for Speed Series but if they are as fun as this one, I may have to check them out!
