Quite some time ago I was shopping at the dollar store and saw these cute little step stools.  I bought one for my kids for the bathroom and didn’t give it a second thought.  Then, the other day after helping her son wash his hands in my bathroom, a friend pointed out how unsafe this little step stool actually is.  It slides easily on the floor rather than staying where it should.  It has a very small surface space to stand and tips easily.  Luckily, we’ve never had any mishaps! It’s since been replaced with a much sturdier and safer yet still cost efficient, Jahgoo Step Stool.

Being roughly three feet tall can be a challenge.  It’s hard to reach the sink to wash after going potty (or to make a sink full of soap bubbles as my three year old likes to do).  It’s hard to get yourself a drink without help, too.  The Jahgoo Step Stool could become your preschooler or toddler’s best friend.  It will enable them to become more independent and do things on their own.  Available in Lime Green or White, the Jahgoo Step Stool features non-slide rubber grips on the top for secure footing for the child and non-slide rubber edges on the bottom to prevent the stool from sliding.   The shape of the step stool combined with the rubber grips makes it difficult to tip making the child feel secure.  The Jahgoo Step Stool retails for $14.99.

We love the lime green color of this stool.  The white is a nice option too but my daughter likes EVERYTHING in pink.  She was a little disappointed that it wasn’t an option with this stool.  While not only a $1, the price of this stool is still very reasonable and completely worth it. I don’t have to worry about my kids tipping it over and falling and they feel a lot more comfortable using this one over the previous stool we had.
