As I head back into another round if nursing, I’m always on the lookout for good nursing bras. Design of the bra and support is so important while you are nursing, both to protect your supply and the future health (and look!) of your breasts. I recently tried the Molded Seamless Underwire Nursing Bra by Leading Lady, a company that has been making bras since the 1940’s! Leading Lady is “dedicated to creating comfortably functional, remarkably affordable, stylish and easy-to-wear bras, camis and sleepwear.” I have to say, the first thing you will notice when taking a peek through leadinglady.com is that the prices ARE actually remarkably affordable for nursing wear. In general, you’d expect to pay $50-60 for a decent nursing bra – but the prices at Leading Lady generally range from $20-$40 – less when they are having a sale! They have a wide variety of styles, including underwire which can be hard to find.

The bra I tried out is a super simple style, perfect for everyday wear. It’s seamless, so it won’t be lumpy and obvious under t-shirts, and the fabric is incredibly soft. Sizing for anything purchased online can be hard – I ordered my bra in the same size as the one I normally wear, and it seems smaller (of course all brands are slightly different). This is a situation where I might order a couple of sizes and send back what doesn’t fit – at these prices, it’s totally worth it!
