HOMEMADE WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLES
5 1/4 Cups Flour
6 Teaspoons Sugar
3 Teaspoons Baking Poweder
6 Eggs
1.5 cups oil or melted butter (Up to 100% can be substituted with applesauce. we like to use 50/50 applesauce/oil)
5 1/4 Cups Milk (up to half can be substituted with water)
3 Tablespoons Vanilla (optional)
mini chocolate chips or blueberries (optional)
Mix together wet ingredients with a mixer. Mix dry ingredients separately and add slowly to wet ingredients. Don’t over mix. Pour batter into your waffle iron and cool until done. To freeze, just wait until cool then put in freezer bags or wrap in plastic. I like to do mine in stacks of 3 (one for each kid).
