According to statistics, a purse or wallet is stolen every 3 seconds. The US Department of Justice and the Bureau of Crime statistics state that there were more than 2.65 million purse and wallet thefts in 2006- and those were just the ones reported!

After witnessing two bags being stolen while eating a local restaurant, Michele Mabry McCauley, mother of five, decided to do something. She created Grab Guard. Available in four colors, Grab Guard is a light weight and easy to use anti-theft device that has many uses:

Grab Guard has and adjustable cable that fully retracts into itself. The cable extends to the length you need, and the cable head is inserted, loop style back into the casing and locks into place. A two digit code of your choice and the release button unlocks it.

I’m not a paranoid person, in fact, I’m not nearly as cautious as I should be. When I first learned of Grab Guard I didn’t think I would use it. After reading more about it and thinking of certain situations, I was sold.

My Mother-in-Law bought me a Coach purse for my birthday. Even with nothing inside of it, if it were stolen it would be a huge loss! Add in my personal contents and that loss would be devastating.

With two small children, I am constantly distracted. My purse is the last thing on my mind. Now I can lock my purse to the grocery cart and not have to worry about it! It’s super easy to use and small enough to store in your purse for whenever the need arises. I doesn’t hurt to be cautious and protect your belongings. It can save a lot of heartache!
