While there are many things in life I wish may have happened differently, I believe that things happen as they do for a reason. The things I wish I could do over aren’t for the purpose of changing anything, but to experience them again because I enjoyed them so much the first time around. My do-over moments would all include those precious newborn moments of my children. What I 
wouldn’t give to rub my son’s super soft, bald newborn head, to breathe in the smell of my oldest daughter’s fresh baby scented hair or to witness my youngest daughter’s first smile again. To gaze into their eyes when I welcomed them into the world and to hear all of their baby giggles or the first time they said “mama” with outstretched arms would melt my heart the same way it did the first time around. They are growing up so fast, it’s hard for a mommy! My oldest is heading into Kindergarten and my youngest who is 20 months old has decided to become Miss Independent and is all “do it self” with everything. While I’m looking forward to experiencing more grown up activities with my kids like sports and the fact that things like family camping trips will get easier, I’m going to miss these younger years. They are going by much too quickly and as hard as I try to hang on to them, they’re slipping
away. I’m afraid I’m going to wake up and they’ll all be off to college! Instead of dwelling on it, I just try to take a lot of pictures so I can look back on the memories and cherish them. I also do a little bit of journaling so I won’t forget the things that were important in their little lives. Getting back a little bit of the newborn years of my kids would be my do-over moments. The one thing I wouldn’t want to do over is last night’s dishes.
