Madagascar: The Video Game Review

A couple of weeks ago we took our three kids (ages 5, 3 and 1) to go see Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.  Talk about a circus! After our children had devoured a giant bucket of popcorn we found out that they aren’t quite old enough to sit through a movie at the movie theater.  Luckily the can have some fun at home with Madagascar 3: The Video Game while they way for the movie to come out on DVD.

With the release of the newest movie in the Madagascar series, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted comes it’s companion, Madagascar 3: The Video Game.  Available on PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS and 3DS platforms, this new video game features your favorite Madagascar characters Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe.  Play as one of the characters to help them find their way home undercover in a traveling circus across Europe.  Participate in missions, perform stunts, engage in circus parties and more all while trying to avoid animal control officers.  This game is full of action with running, jumping, swinging, swimming, roaring and more, all in some of Europe’s most popular locations.  With mini-games galore, kids will have plenty to explore.  Madagascar 3: The Video game retails from around $30-$40 depending on the game platform.

My five year old really loves the mini-games.  The overall theme of the game is pure fun! The characters are cute and entertaining.
