I’ve got two little girls with very different personalities. My oldest daughter was never really interested in baby dolls but my youngest who is 20 months old is very attached to her babies. She carries them everywhere, pushes them in the stroller and even puts them up front in her toy grocery cart and takes them to “Safeway”. Most of her dollies are pretty small so when she saw the life-size Lots to Cuddle Doll from JC Toys her eyes lit up. It was just like a real baby to snuggle!
Parker herself is on the small side so it’s pretty cute to see her hold this doll — it’s nearly as big as she is! And now that McKinley has a sister who loves babies and she has someone to play with she’s gotten a little more interested in “playing family” It cracks me up because she always makes her baby sister be the mom.
The doll might be big but she’s lightweight and soft making her easy to love on. The doll’s size does limit it’s use. I don’t let Parker bring the Lots to Cuddle Doll in the car because it’s just too big to carry around. On the other hand, if she dropped it out of the grocery cart it would certainly be hard to lose! Parker has plenty of small dolls so this larger doll is a favorite to play with at home.
