I have this memory of when I was a little girl, getting a Rescuers Christmas ornament from McDonalds — one of those cute little collectibles. I’d probably still have it if I hadn’t lost all of my childhood Christmas ornaments in a fire. Both Rescuers movies are adorable and sure to become a favorite it our house.
Thirty five years ago the Disney classic The Rescuers was made. This month it’s being released as a 35th Anniversary Edition and bundled with the sequel, The Rescuers Down Under on DVD & Blu-Ray. The combo pack which comes with both the Blu-Ray and DVD formats also includes these bonus features:
- “Peoplitis” deleted song
- The Making of “Rescuers Down Under”
- “Three Blind Mouseketeers” animated short
- Water-Birds, A Walt Disney True Life Adventure documentary
- “Someone’s Waiting For You” Sing-Along
Both of these movies star two of the world’s bravest mice — Bernard and Biana — as they set out on two adventurous rescue missions. Join them as they outsmart their rivals in the Devil’s Bayou and the Australian outback. These tiny lovable heroes will win your heart over. The Rescuers Two Movie Collection Blu-ray Combo pack retails for $39.99. Celebrate The Rescuers 35th Anniversary today! Check out this cute clip below:
