When I made my food bank purchase for The Penny Experiment last week a catalina printed out for a free pack of Baby Basic diapers. I have no idea what triggered the coupon but I was thrilled to get it. Imagine my surprise when I found this deal from Common Sense with Money:
Use this coupon for $4 off Baby Basics diapers. A minimum purchase of $7 is required but the diapers sell for around $7.99. Reports are saying that when you purchase pack, a catalina will print for another $4 of Baby Basics diapers and it DOES NOT require a minimum purchase! Many people are also reporting that they’ve found jumbo packs on clearance for $3.99 which would make them free!
I’m pretty brand loyal to Huggies but since my 2 year old is finally potty trained except for night and nap, I think these will work just fine!
Make sure to check the store locator to find the store closest to you that carries Baby Basic diapers.
Update: I just went to Albertsons and used my coupon for a free pack and my coupon for $4 off a jumbo and a catalina did NOT print. The only ones I could find on clearance for the newborn size for $5.99/jumbo. Maybe others will have better luck.
I just got back from Acme – and I bought the last pack of clearance diapers they had. It seems this brand, which I haven’t tried before, is also downsizing the number per pack, but price, it seems, will remain unchanged (the size 5 pack I bought had 30, whereas the “new” packs have only 27). Also, no catalina printed for me, but I did spot a TMF peelie on Gerber Graduates yogurt blends!
