My son got a Nintendo DS when he turned four. To keep things consistant, my daughter who will be turning 4 next month will be getting one for her birthday too. This will be a whole new thing for me to go from games like Lego Batman to games with more girlie appeal. The cover art for [amazon_link id=”B0082SIL3K” target=”_blank” ]Winx Club Magical Fairy Party[/amazon_link] caught my attention. Even though the fairies are showing a little more skin than necessary, the game is obviously girlie. I’ll have to hold on to this one for awhile though because it involves reading which means a lot more help from mom than I have time for right now. Still, the concept of the game sounds like a lot of fun!
The Winx Club, a [amazon_link id=”B0082SIL3K” target=”_blank” ]Nintendo DS game[/amazon_link] with an ESRP rating of E (for Everyone) is based on the Nickelodeon animated cartoon of the same name. Create your own fairy and join the Winx Club as a new student at Alfea. Volunteer on the party committee and play mini games that help you prepare for the events throughout the school year. Then decide on the theme of the big event — the end-of-year dance. This game features a lot of party decorating, outfit planning and theme designing making it the perfect video game for creative little girls. During game play, players can earn new decorations, party music, accessories, outfits and more. For a personal touch, your very own birthday as well as your fairy’s birthday, are celebrated in the game. Winx Club Magical Fairy Party retails for around $30.
