A few weeks ago we had some unseasonably warm weather here in the Pacific Northwest. We pulled out our patio furniture, cleaned it up, bought a barbecue and really enjoyed the sunshine! The rain returned but we’re still excited for the summer and plan on doing a lot of entertaining at our new house.
I recently had the opportunity to ask design and DIY expert Sarah Saucedo from Thrifty Décor Chick some questions on how to make the most of our outdoor space on a budget. Watch the video above to find out the answers to these questions:
- If you could only purchase ONE item for your outdoor space, what would give you the most bang for your buck?
- What’s the best way to clean/spruce up outdoor furniture?
- What are some inexpensive ways to create outdoor ambiance for an evening get-together?
Sarah had some great ideas so be sure to watch the video!

Thanks for sharing this, Holly. I know I’m looking forward to BBQ season out here. Now I’m worried about the glass on my patio table, though…
