Skicare in our household isn’t easy. Two out of 3 of my children have extremely sensitive skin. Summer is the worst time for us because my oldest daughter has a sensitivity to sunscreen. She gets red irritated bumps and super dry skin but I can’t leave her unprotected! Instead, I just try to counter the irritation with a moisturizing product. I recently discovered CapriClear and it’s been a savior! It provides instant relief!
For those with sensitive skin, finding a good over-the-counter moisturizer can be a challenge. CapriClear was formulated by a dermatologist and designed to combat dry, flaky and irritated skin. The exceptionally pure single single ingredient (100% fractionated coconut oil) is safe for even the most sensitive skin and can be used to relieve itching and irritation associated with conditions such as eczema and atopic dermatitis. Hypoallergenic CapriClear is colorless and odorless, free of preservatives, additives, dyes, fragrances parabens, sulfates, PABA and other potential irritants making it safe for use on babies and adults alike. The fine spray mist makes it easy to apply for smoother, healthier looking skin. CapriClear can be used as often as needed to keep skin moisturized. A full sized bottle retails for around $15 while a travel sized bottle retails for around $6.
We’ve been using CapriClear in the mornings and at night as needed for relief of dry, stinging skin. While it hasn’t cleared up any existing problem I’m sure it’s improving the situation and keeping it from getting worse. I didn’t expect complete recovery since we are still using sunscreen daily but this product is definitely keeping it manageable! It’s not easy finding products for sensitive skin that really work and are fragrance free. This one not only works, but it’s easy to use with it’s spray on application and it’s really reasonably priced!
More information about Fractionated Coconut Oil:
Fractionated coconut oil (FCO) is a fraction (portion) of the whole oil, in which the different medium-chain fatty acids are separated for specific uses. Lauric acid, a 12-carbon chain fatty acid, is removed. Fractionated coconut oil may also be referred to as caprylic/capric triglyceride oil or medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil because it is primarily the medium-chain caprylic (8 carbons) and capric (10 carbons) acids that make up the bulk of the oil. MCT oil is most frequently used for medical applications and special diets. As part of this method, the familiar coconut smell is eliminated.
