I’ve discovered that each of my kids have their own specific ways to unwind. My daughter likes to color. It seems to calm her. My son on the other hand goes to his quiet place by building things. I love that both of their outlets are creative and I’m always impressed by their creations.
My son has never met a KRE-O set he didn’t like. The latest, the KRE-O CityVille Invasion line, a collaboration between Hasbro and Zynga, is inspired by the CityVille Invasion app which can be downloaded for free here.
In the app, the evil Dr. Mayhem and his bad guy squad have invaded and it’s up to players and their heroic KREON figures to defend their cities against his destruction! The KRE-O sets bring the game to life. Builders can construct one of several CityVille Invasion locations, including haunted houses, skyscrapers, marinas, and police stations. One unique feature is that each set features Sonic Motion Technology, where sound waves emitted from set trigger special movements in the KRE-O bricks making characters shuffle, crash, or swim across the sets. All sets will officially land on shelves starting 8/1.
There are two sets to choose from, CityVille Invastion Police Station Zombie Defense Set and CityVille Invasion Haunted Hideaway Building Set. We’ve never had a building set that requires batteries and anything that needs batteries adds extra cool factor. Plus, ZOMBIES. Need I say more?
Both sets are available at most major retailers nationwide and at HasbroToyShop.com. They each come with an exclusive QR Code to unlock KREONs in the CityVille Invasion app for extra fun! The sets include 270-317 pieces and retail for $24.99 each.
