The other day out of the blue I had a craving for some apple bread. Then I remembered that I had some cinnamon chips in the pantry and a lightbulb went off! I recently discovered cinnamon chips but had yet to try them in anything. I have to say, this was the perfect way to use them!
Apple Cinnamon Chip Bread Recipe

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 apple chopped into smallish bits
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 TBSP vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 bag cinnamon chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Lightly oil a loaf pan or muffin tins and set aside.
- Whisk together the eggs, oil, vanilla and milk
- In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and brown sugar
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Do not over mix.
- Fold in the apples and cinnamon chips
- Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle.
Watch the time because our oven seems to be a bit off and I don’t want you to over bake your bread! Keep an eye on it starting around 25 or 30 minutes.

This sounds delicious, and must smell wonderful when it’s baking.
