Have you ever buttered someone up before asking for something? A survey from the makers of Mrs. Smith’s pies reveals that more than 3 in 4 people have! Speaking of butter, Mrs. Smith’s has just introduced their unbaked pies made with real butter for the perfect flaky crust.

The online survey of 1,000 U.S. adults ages 18 and older, which shows the details about how and why people “butter each other up,” also reveals:
- 57 percent of respondents think it is important that there is butter in their store-bought pie crusts.
- 32 percent of respondents think their significant other need the most buttering up (32%), followed by another family member (16%), and a boss (10%).
