This is the kind of excitement that was going on at my house last night prior to leaving for the Disney On Ice: Rockin Ever After show:
I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to have an arena in Everett. It makes seeing shows with my family so much more manageable! No traffic, easy parking and late nights a lot less late! Since this show was on a school night, I was glad we were able to make it home before 10 pm.
I had never been to a Disney on Ice show so I didn’t know what to expect but as you can see, we were super excited about it — I mean Disney princesses and ice skating? What’s not to love?!
This is the look of excitement as the characters arrived on the ice! Mickey & Minnie were the hosts of the show with a little help from Donald and Goofy. Their sparkly outfits were eye catching and the kicked the show off with an upbeat song and a lot of ice skaters.
My girls were enthralled at the reenactment of many of their favorite scene from Disney Movies. The scenes from The Little Mermaid topped our favorite’s list. We saw Sebastian, Flounder, Ursela and of course Prince Eric and Ariel. The costumes were amazing as was the choreography. Ariel even did an ariel piece which was entirely unexpected!
My personal favorite part of the show were the scenes from Tangled. The characters from the “I Had a Dream” musical portion had really cool costumes with masks to look just like the characters in the movie. Maximus the horse was even played a part! I have no idea how two ice skaters can work so well together to create a single character on the ice. Simply amazing.

It was so cute seeing all of the little girls wearing princess dresses. We didn’t end up dressing up because I knew we’d be outside for a bit and the weather has just turned super cold so I bundled up the kids. Still, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend the show!
