I’m a procrastinator. I can admit it. If you haven’t already ordered your holiday cards (like me) you’re probably looking at rush shipping fees to get them in time. You could order Happy New Year cards to send out after Christmas but it’s not quite the same. Instead, why not make your own cards at home using Office 365? It’s easy and cost effective, not to mention you’ll have them same-day! Office 365 Home Premium has some fun, festive and free templates that makes creating your greeting cards a snap. It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
- Open a fresh PowerPoint document
- Search for “holiday cards” in the search box at the top
- Edit & print!
Here’s the card I created using this Microsoft PowerPoint Holiday Card Template:
This is super simple and only took a matter of minutes. I’m sure you can get a little fancier and create something from scratch but if you’re pressed for time (and who isn’t this time of year?) you can take the easy way and still come out looking organized and on top of your game with a custom card in no time flat.
With Office 365 you can upload your creation to SkyDrive so you can access it from anywhere to make tweaks (at home, at the office, or even out and about on your phone). You also can share it easily with your family to make sure everyone approves before you hit the print button. When you’re ready, your cards can be printed two 5.5 x 8.5 inch cards per 8 ½ X 11 inch sheet. That’s it!
