Our love of Umi Shoes is no secret. I look forward to each new season just to browse the new line up of shoes. Even though the weather isn’t there yet, we’re ready for spring! Parker tries to wear her new sandals everyday despite the cold and rain. I can’t say I blame her! Who wouldn’t want to show off these adorable toes?
I always know when she loves her shoes because she asks to sleep in them. If they’re comfortable enough to sleep in, I want a pair for myself! Let’s just say I’ve lost the nap time battle of the shoes several times this week alone. This style is called “Cora” and comes in lots of fun colors. I’m a sucker for silver and it goes with everything but I was thisclose to picking the hot pink pair:
I’m tempted to buy a second pair, and I just might once the weather warms up. A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes, right? These look like they buckle but the strap is actually Velcro which I personally love because it means that Parker and put them on and take them off all by herself. Plus, the fit is that much more precise and combined with the cushy soles make these shoes comfortable for everyday wear which includes running, jumping and adventure. These shoes look cute with everything!
McKinley is my strong-willed fashionista. This girl is 5 going on 16. She schools me on what is fashionable and we often bump heads on outfit choices. She amazes me with the ensembles she puts together but they’re often not weather appropriate. Being the practical mom that I am, I gravitate towards sensible shoes and really wanted to get her a more athletic style but I compromised with “Vianne” and I am so glad I did.
These shoes are so her (though she would have chosen pink). Again, these shoes go with everything from jeans to dresses and the slip-on style makes them easy to put on and go in the mornings which I think is part of the appeal to her (and me!) She’s been wearing boots all winter that aren’t quite as easy to put on and she’s itching for spring like the rest of us and to feel the air on her cute lil tootsies! These shoes are win-win with both mother and daughter because they are stylish & girlie yet comfortable and practical. Two thumbs up to Umi Shoes for another great line of shoes!
