I am in no rush for my littles to grow up. In fact, I tell me youngest all the time to please just stay little! Still, I can’t help but look forward to certain things in their future and imagining what they’ll be like. Prom for instance. It’s prom season, such a rite of passage it seems. Myself? I went to prom stag. I hope my girls will have Prince Charmings to escort them that will treat them with respect.
I love imagining what they might choose as far as dresses go. I actually browsed some and found the ones I think would be perfect.

My youngest, Parker, loves the color blue and her favorite Disney princess is Cinderella. Isn’t this dress perfect?!
Can’t you just imagine this lil princess in a pretty blue fancy prom gown? It almost makes me want to order it now and save it for her. It’s that perfect! And then there’s my older daughter. This is the one I picked for her:
It reminds me of Princess Belle. McKinley’s favorite color is pink and her favorite Disney Princess is Arora but I image when she gets older she’ll start to realize that pink doesn’t go very well with her red hair.
Can you picture this beauty in the yellow dress? I found both of these lovely prom dresses at jenjenhouse.com which has an excellent selection by the way, if your girls are prom age. You can see all the prom dresses they offer at http://www.jenjenhouse.
Do you day dream about your children’s futures? What do you most look forward to?

Pink may not go well with red hair, but she’ll want to wear it even more if you tell her that….My mom used to say red, pink, and a bunch of other colors that didn’t look good on me, which just made me think *I* didn’t look good…
Aww, I’m sorry! I’m sure she didn’t mean to make you feel that way. My daughter looks pretty in any color — I don’t tell her pink looks bad, I just steer her more towards green, purple and blue when I can because it shows off her beautiful red hair 🙂
