In 2009 two young college girls brought their vision to life. Sarita Trujillo and Katherine Siegert dreamed of quality garments that wouldn’t sacrifice comfort for style and Purpuratta was born. Their line of beautiful women’s lingerie, bathing suits, cover-ups, and loungewear have taken off in both Latin America and the United States. The brand specializes in contemporary styles for comfortable everyday wear.
I received the set pictured above. The bra fit amazingly well. It has a front closure and the straps stay in place without cutting into my shoulders. The style of the bra makes it great for “cold shoulder” type tops where you wouldn’t want your bra straps to show. This bra doesn’t appear to be available on the website anymore but the panties are and their very reasonably priced too at $10. I love that they are sexy without compromising comfort — comfortable underwear are important!
Purpuratta has a beautiful selection of bras, most of them priced around $45-$50 (some as high as $77) and the majority of the panties priced at $10 though this category does have some higher priced items as well. Overall, I think the brand offers a quality product at a good price point compared to competitors. The fact that they aim for comfort adds a lot of value in my book!
