This year I got an early start on my back to school shopping with PackIt Insulated Lunch Totes. I figured I could use them during the summer for our park play dates to get a little bit of extra use out of them before school starts up again. My son will be in the 2nd grade at takes a packed lunch at least 4 days a week. My daughter will be in Kindergarten this year and while she’ll have lunch at home 4 days a week, on Fridays she’ll need a packed lunch for the longer school day. She’s super excited about this and her new insulated lunch bag with cute little hearts on it:
PackIt lunch bags have a freezable gel built into their lining to help keep food and drinks cold for up to 10 hours. The bags are foldable for compact storage in the freezer overnight. Just pull it out in the morning and get to packing! PackIt bags will come in handy during the summer then transition well right into the school year. Available in solid colors and a selection of trendy prints, each bag retails for around $20.
I love the style of the striped bag my son will be carrying in the fall. Both of these lunch bags are not only stylish but quite functional too! They are just the right size for my kids who typically get a sandwich, fruit, crackers, a snack and a drink. I know they’ll appreciate the cooler function so their beverage stays cold and I’ll be able to send things like yogurt and cheese. I love how the bags fold down for compact storage overnight in the freezer. The zipper closure helps lock in cold, dry air and the buckle handle can be clipped to a stroller or tote bag for easy carrying. The lunch bags are small enough when filled to fit in their backpack yet large enough to fit everything they need for lunch. They’re well-made and sturdy enough they should last the entire school year, even with frequent use. Be sure to check out PackIt.com for all of the design options including other styles of bags like a freezable wine bag and a freezable shopping bag (a summer must-have!).
