I hate ironing. LOATH it even. When I was pregnant with my first child my husband had a job that required business attire. That made it my job to make sure his shirts and pants were ironed. I remember sitting on my exercise ball with the tabletop ironing board on the ottoman slaving over starching shirts. I accidentally dropped the iron somehow and melted the perfect shape of an iron right into the middle of our upholstered ottoman. Oops. Since then my hubby has moved on to another job that is much more casual, thank goodness! Still, wrinkles are like weeds — they’re never gone forever. Now, especially since I’ve found Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus, they have a lot less control over my life.
Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus is more than a replacement for ironing. In fact, Downy has come up with 101 uses for the home, family and traveler. I’ve tried it a few different ways and have been impressed with the results. It’s definitely something I’m going to keep on hand. Downy knew I’d want to try it right away so they actually sent a wrinkled t-shirt along with the samples. Check this out:
All you have to do is spray, smooth, and tug. Allow fabric to dry and you’ll be left with a fresh smelling, wrinkle-free garment in just minutes. It’s pretty impressive, right? I’ve since used it on clothing that was folded and stored in dresser drawers that always come out of the dresser clean but creased, as an ironing aide — yes, I actually had to drag the old iron out so we could look decent to attend a wedding, and have been meaning to try it on my kid’s curtains. I was too lazy to iron those before I hung them and they still have wrinkles in them even though I tried the dryer method to remove them. I think this product will be perfect for fixing the problem.
I’m guilty of not always folding the clean laundry as soon as it’s done when tends to leave a lot of items with wrinkles. I’ve used Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus as needed while I’m folding the clothes rather than putting them back in the dryer to try to get the wrinkles out. It’s beginning to look like I should buy stock in this product or at the very least, buy it in bulk! Wrinkles beware!
Downy Wrinkle Releaser smells great and can also be used to freshen up furniture, bedding, pet beds, car seats and more. It doubles as a static reducer too! It works to eliminate wrinkles by coating fabric fibers with silicone which allows them to relax and slide apart rather than staying frozen into a creased, wrinkly mess. The new WonderBottle was designed to deliver a finer mist to a larger area to reduce drying time. You can find out more about Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus at www.downywrinklereleaserplus.com.
