One of our staple grocery items is the frozen boneless skinless chicken tenders from Costco. There are so many different ways to use them but we tend to get in a rut and just keep repeating the same meals over and over again. That’s why I was excited to try Frenh’s new Crunch Time Entrees. First of all, I liked the idea of just keeping these on hand in the pantry for an easy meal. Secondly, all four of the flavors available our ones my family would enjoy: General Tso’s, Buffalo – made with Frank’s® RedHot®, Sweet & Sour and Chipotle BBQ.
Each pouch includes a 4 oz packet of crunchy coating and a 4 oz packet of restaurant-style sauce. The only ingredients you’ll need are an egg, a little bit of flour and your protein. This product is great on chicken, beef, pork and seafood. French’s Crunch Time Entrées have a suggested retail price of $3.49 each.
French’s Crunch Time Entrées are not only quick, they’re super easy, too! Just three simple steps and you can have dinner on the table in under thirty minutes:
1. COAT IT – Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix flour with Crunchy Coating. Dip chicken in egg, then coat with Crunchy Coating.
2. BAKE IT – Arrange chicken on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 20 -25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
3. TOP IT – Drizzle sauce evenly, serve and enjoy!
Whenever we eat out I tend to look for buffalo chicken strips. They’re one of my favorites! I’ve never tried to make them at home before. I was pretty impress with not only how easy they were to make with French’s Crunch Time but how good they tasted! They were much better than I expected them to be! I like that you add the sauce at the very end before serving. That way I was able to leave sauce off of a few of them for the kids. Our family really enjoyed this meal and can’t wait to try the other flavors.
