In the summer I tend to take more pictures than any other time of year. These days I don’t carry a camera. My iPhone is my sole device for capturing my family’s memories. There are so many great apps that help me streamline my photo storage and organization, assist in editing, and offer some really cool and affordable printing services. I’ve rounded up a few of the best photography apps so you’ll be prepared to capture and preserve all the fun summer has to offer:
Everalbum — This unbelievably easy-to-use app is a must-have. It automatically backs up your photos from your phone, tablet and your computer and stores them for easy access in the cloud. This frees up storage on your mobile devices and ensures your photos are safe in case your computer crashes or you accidentally drop your phone in the toilet. Everalbum also offers editing options (some at an extra cost). For just $7.99/month or $79/year (20% savings) you can back up up to 50,000 photos in full resolution. Believe me, it’s worth every penny!
Booksto.me — If Instagram is a favorite of yours, you’ll love BookstoMe. It’s a subscription service that automatically pulls your Instagram photos, lays them out and prints them into a hardbound photo book. You can get them monthly or quarterly and they’re shipped for free. Tag any photos you don’t want included with #NoBTM to exclude them from your next book. I always post my favorite photos to Instagram so I love having these books created for me with no effort on my part. Monthly subscriptions are $24 and quarterly subscriptions are $44. Books will include up to 320 photos!

FreePrints — Get up to 1,000 4×6 prints per year (up to 85 per month) for FREE (just pay shipping which starts at $1.99 and is never more than $9.99). Use promo code hduce1 when you sign up and get 5 bonus prints per month! FreePrints also offers 5×5, 5×7, 8×10, 11×14, 16×20,and 20×30 prints for an additional but reasonable charge. All photos are printed in a professional lab on high quality glossy or premium matte photographic paper and shipped to your door within days of ordering. This is my favorite app for ordering photos because of the variety of print sizes available. Plus, it’s super easy to get exactly what I need at a great price.

Fotor — With the free Fotor app I can apply filters, crop photos, apply text, make collages and more! I can’t believe it’s free. Of course there are some upgrades like purchasing additional frames etc. but it’s loaded with options that you don’t have to pay for. Another awesome thing about Fotor? It’s available for Windows, Windows 8, Mac, Android and iPhone so even if you don’t have a smartphone, you can still use it from your computer. I think this is one of the best photography apps available for free.

These are some of my most used and best photography apps on my iPhone. Which photography related apps do you use and love?
