Back to School shopping is fun and easy at Kohl’s! I was able to cross a TON of stuff off our Back to School shopping list with a budget of $300, including school supplies which are now offered in-store via a partnership with Office Max. From name brand clothing to basics at excellent prices, we’re all set to start the school year off on the right foot (with new socks and shoes!).
I found the cutest Hello Kitty backpacks for my girls and a couple pairs of Nikes for less than $50 a pair. I also got an adorable pair of Levi’s for only $15. Taking coupons, Kohl’s Cash and Kohl’s Rewards into consideration, I can really stretch my budget and still buy the things my kids want.
One of the reasons I love shopping at Kohl’s is that there are so many ways to save. I can almost always find a coupon for 15-20% off and I try to shop during Kohl’s Cash days when I can get $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent. On top of that, I use my Yes2You Rewards card to earn a $5 reward for every 100 points earned. You earn 1 point for every dollar you spend plus watch for double and triple points days to earn even more!
When shopping in-store, sign into Kohl’s free wi-fi via your phone and see what other offers are available. I often find valuable coupons this way! If you’re shopping online, be sure to shop through Ebates and get 3% cash back.
You can benefit from shopping with Ebates! First of all, right off the bat they give you a free $10 gift card when you sign up and make your first purchase of $25 or more. Secondly, every time you shop at a participating store you’ll get up to 25% cash back on your purchase — sometimes even more during special promotions.
I’ve been using Ebates for years. Why not get paid for shopping? It’s free to use and only requires the tiniest bit of effort. Here’s how it works:
- Visit Ebates.com
- Search for the store you want to shop at
- Click through to the store’s website
- This opens a tracking ticket that will record the amount of your purchase and credit your account with cash back accordingly.
- Ebates sends out a “big fat check” quarterly so every 3 months you’ll receive either a check or a deposit to your Paypal account for all of the purchases you’ve made over those 3 months. As if that’s not enough, Ebates also offers exclusive deals and discount codes at your favorite stores. With over 1500 participating retailers, you’re bound to shop at some of them. Especially since they include Old Navy, Macy’s, Sears, Target, even Amazon! Sign up today
Another option is Extrabux. They are offering 3% cash back at Kohl’s. Sign up for Extrabux and receive $5 just for joining. They offer up to 30% cash back on purchases from over 2,000 online retailers. Refer friends and receive a bonus of $5 for every friend that joins PLUS 5% of their cash back purchases! This is a great way to put a few extra bucks in your pocket while helping friends and family save money too!
