The Curious Creamery is currently in Kickstarter but with your help it can be brought to fruition. I get pitches all the time for Kickstarter campaigns but this is one that really caught my attention. Hey, I like ice cream…what can I say? I was intrigued that I could make ice cream at home without a machine. Furthermore, it’s only 100 calories per scoop and doesn’t contain any preservatives, gluten, trans-fats or artificial ingredients. That’s like guilt-free indulgence! Here’s how anyone, with any skill level in the kitchen can make any flavor of ice cream right in the recyclable tub, with NO MESS.
- Fill the tub to the indicated line with ice cold water (or any other cold liquid)
- Mix the full contents of the provided pouch and stir gently to combine
- Use an electric hand mixer (or just some strong hands) to evenly mix for 2-3 minutes
- Add flavor or inclusions as desired (fruit, cookies, candy, whatever!)
- Freeze!
Is this a product you’d like to see on the market? In order for that to happen, the Curious Creamery needs to meet their kickstarter goal and raise $50,000. They only have 24 days left with a lot more money to be raised! You can donate any amount but if you pledge $26 or more you’ll get two 32 oz mix containers and two boxes of ice cream cake mix. The more you pledge, the greater the reward so head over to the kickstarter page to check it out and make a donation. Let’s get this product off the ground!
