I love trying new makeup. I wear makeup pretty much everyday but sometimes I get in a rut. Mia Mariu is one of my favorite brands. Their products are so easy to work with and come in beautiful colors. I recently picked out some new items to try for a “glamorous look”. I’m not sure how glamorous it came out but I really like the pretty and romantic colors and came up with a look I can wear everyday. Here’s my before and after photos:
I started with a tinted moisturizer from Paula’s Choice followed by a blend of two different mineral powders I already had. One of them was Mia Mariu brand that wasn’t quite the right color for me so I mixed it with another mineral powder I had on hand. The rest of the products I used were brand new and my first time trying them out Here’s what I used to get the look:
Mineral Blush in Maria Azucena — This velvety powder blush goes on sheer and blends well. It’s easy to get a very subtle glow with this slightly shimmery powder. I absolutely love this pale peach/coral color. The formula features light-diffusing qualities that offer a mistake-proof and flawless application. Anyone can apply this! If you don’t normally use blush, this is a good one to start with. It’s made for all skin types and is oil free, talc free, paraben free and fragrance free.
For my eyes, I started by lining them on the top and bottom lash lines with Intense Eye Liner Pencil in black. The texture of the pencil was smooth but not too soft. It wasn’t too hard either so it won’t drag or pull the delicate eye area. It glides on easily for precise definition .
Next I used Mineral Eye Shadow in Duo Rosa Marquesa. I used the narrow end of the included brush to sweep the darker color over the eyeliner. I used one of my own brushes to use the same color in the crease and outer corner of my eyes. Then I used the larger end of the included brush to sweep the lighter color over the rest of my eyelid. These shadows glide on and are easily blended. You can build up the color to get the desired look. I love that this shadow didn’t crease and easily lasted the entire day. The colors are gorgeous! 
To complete my eye look, I curled my eyelashes with an eyelash curler and applied Volumizing Mascara. I really love this mascara because it doesn’t clump at all. It extends and separates your lashes and darkens them so that they stand out without being “too much”. You can apply multiple coats depending on the look you are going for but one coat does the job for everyday wear.
I complete my look with Hydrating Stick Gloss in Gitana. I like a more subtle color on my lips when I got a little more dramatic with my eyes. I LOVE Mia Mariu Stick Gloss. I have one in a dark color as well and they are very moisturizing, not sticky and offer just the right amount of color and shine.
