I love desserts and this time of year I especially love pumpkin pie. For breakfast. While I love traditional pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top, I’m totally digging the new Edwards Pumpkin Creme Pie. First of all, there isn’t a frozen Edwards dessert that I don’t love — they are a family favorite! So I wasn’t surprised at all when I fell in love with this one too. The crust is to die for with vanilla cookie with ginger and cinnamon. Fall spices are the best and Edwards did a great job incorporating them into their recipe. To make this pie even better, it features a cream cheese layer (yum!) and whipped creme rosettes on top of the pumpkin layer. I’ve got my fingers crossed that Edwards will decide to keep this holiday dessert available year round. Right now it’s slated to be available through the end of the year.
If you aren’t familiar with Edwards frozen desserts, they’re sold in the freezer section. They’re perfect for get togethers because you just thaw and serve. No need for baking!
