Disney’s comes out on Blu-Ray and Digital HD this Tuesday, November 4th and I’m working with Disney to help spread the word! This high energy action adventure is geared for the entire family with humor throughout. I always love movies that have a little bit of humor that adults can appreciate and this movie is one of them! Teamwork is something we try to instill in our kids. For us, it’s through sports and working together as a family. In this movie, characters in the air and on the ground work as a team. In Planes Fire & Rescue, Dusty joins forces with a team of experienced firefighters when he learns that he may never race again. Together they battle a massive fire with their ariel skills as Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.
I took my kids to see Planes when it was in theaters. Dusty is such a likable character. I can’t wait to see his role in Planes Fire & Rescue. I am sure he has a valuable lesson to teach as he learns it himself!
Sounds like a great family movie night to me! You can . Get a little sneak peak by watching the trailer below:
I’m blessed to have my own little heroes in my life, my three awesome kids:
Talk about teamwork! This was my oldest’s first year of Peewee football. He learned so much about teamwork and sportsmanship, two things that I think come pretty naturally to him. Jackson has a big heart and is always willing to work together with his friends and teammates. I’ve witnessed him putting aside his own wants to compromise with his friends when playing together without making a big deal about it. He’s my hero because even when practices and games are hard, he never gives up. He is always there for his team no matter what.
My oldest daughter is also one of my heroes. I’ve never met someone so caring or as generous. She truly always thinks of others before herself. If I give her a treat while her brother is at school she’ll save some for him or ask me to get one for him too. It wouldn’t be unlike her to give away two pieces of candy, leaving herself with none. It always amazes me! When we go to her brother’s football practices, she packs toys for the littler kids and babies to play with. She shares everything without giving it a second thought. I love her generous heart!
I was blessed with a third child, another little hero. For her, it’s the littlest things that make it “the best day ever!!!” She finds joy in everything and in turn, brings so much joy to our family and others. She is so much fun to be around because she is always happy and excited and grateful. She always remembers to say thank you whenever we do something fun together. Ever since I can remember, she’s had this joyfulness that’s contagious. I don’t know what I’d do without her!
My kids have so much to teach me about generosity, compassion, gratitude and being a team player. I am so proud of all of them for being a good example of all of these things and more. My true heroes.
What makes your children heroes? I’d love to hear about it, so please leave a comment! Kids can be such an inspiration
