If there’s one timeless classic for holiday gift giving, it’s building blocks or construction sets. Over the years they’ve developed and improved but the basic concept remains the same. This year, the Mega Bloks Hot Wheels™ Super Race Set 8-in-1 is one that stands out to me.

This set is deal for kids aged 5 and up. I love the possibilities this set has. My 7 year old loves building things both with directions and with his own imagination. There’s definitely a lot of room for both with this kit! I also love that once built, the toys can be raced and played with, extending the play time.
What I love most about this set though is that you can create one ultimate vehicle with the 8 that are included by using these directions. Combine this set with any of the other Mega Bloks Hot Wheels sets for even more fun!
