We had our first taste of Kidz Bop in November with Kidz Bop 26 and Kidz Bop Christmas Wish List, both of which we really enjoyed. This week, Kidz Bop 27 was released. I’ll admit, I was pretty excited to check it out. I had pretty high hopes after our last experience with Kidz Bop but I was somewhat disappointed this time around. The song selection wasn’t as good and one of the songs says “Oh my God” which we don’t allow our kids to say. My daughter pointed it out to me immediately or I might not have noticed. Still, there are some good songs on this disc and we’ll still listen to it but Kidz Bop 26 will be the one we reach for more. I’m not giving up on the brand either. I think they’ve got a good thing going, using current hits and making them kid friendly. I love that I don’t have to worry about the lyrics and it’s still the popular music my kids love!
