I love it when we find a movie that the whole family loves. It doesn’t happen very often. Sometimes us adults are hard to please. When my daughter turned 6 she asked if she could take a friend to a movie to celebrate. She chose to see Big Hero 6. I didn’t fall asleep and I didn’t sneak onto Facebook on my phone — I actually REALLY enjoyed the movie! It had a great story line, fun characters and it was perfectly paced. I knew it was going to be a movie we wanted to own but I still wasn’t sure my husband would like it.
Last week we watched Big Hero 6 for Family Movie Night, and guess what? Hubs wasn’t on his phone either — he watched the movie. He didn’t say much about it afterwards but I overheard him telling another dad how good the movie was. I think that says a lot! It’s a must-have for every family movie collection!
You know what else says a lot? Winning gold for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars! I’m not surprised though — this movie really is a winner!
