I’m always looking for things to keep my kids entertained that don’t involve screen time. They get enough of that! My seven year old son really loves building so when i heard about Paper Punk’s Urban Fold Build Your Own Paper Block City I knew it would be right up his alley. I was thrilled to see my oldest daughter join in as well!
They both enjoyed punching out the pieces and folding them up into 3D shapes. The directions are pretty easy to follow. Getting the little tabs into the slots to hold the shapes together can be a little bit of a challenge but they took it on like champs! The kit includes 48 punch-n-fold shapes, 697 cool stickers, poster with instructions and planning grid/mat and my favorite, a display worthy storage box to keep everything in!
I love that this activity doesn’t need scissors, glue or anything else — just their imaginations! This photo is of a “Playground” my daughter was working on. You can see a slide and teeter toter that she built — fun, right? And the colors and patterns just make it even more fun! This open ended activity offers unlimited fun and creativity. It’s sometime my kids will continue to enjoy playing with and it’s a great value for only around $25 per kit! You can find out more at www.paperpunk.com.
