Everything is more fun in a group setting whether it’s family or friends or an awesome mix of both. We just got back from a trip to Disneyland. We went with two other families. Those two families were related but we weren’t the odd ones out — we’re all close enough to feel like family and we are so lucky to have these fun people in our lives!
While we were planning our trip we though it would be fun if we all wore our Seahawks gear one day to represent our beloved team. Then I was contacted by CustomInk and asked if I wanted to make custom tees for an event. First, I picked out a logo. They have tons to choose from. I just typed in “Disney” and found one I liked. Then I added the year “2015”. When I discovered that we could customize the backs of the tees too, I was super excited. We met these families through sports so it was totally fitting. We added our last names to the backs and everyone chose their favorite number. For our family, since our last name is Duce, we choose “02” for all of us. Each family got to pick a color to represent themselves.

From the front or the back, people could tell we were together and we were able to follow each other easier in the crowds! When I ordered the shirts, I double checked all the other family’s numbers. When our shirts arrived, our littlest had “01” on her shirt. I double checked the order I submitted and realized I must have made a typo. That’s ok though because as the youngest, she tends to be our #1, our little princess! CustomInk did a great job of getting our order exactly right!
The shirts really gave us a sense of unity. They also helped when we were in line! There were several times when a few of us would have to leave to take someone potty. The cast members at Disney were awesome about allowing us to get our place back in line and it made us easy to remember with the matching shirts!

It’s really hard to get a picture of all three of my kids together. This one is practically a miracle! We were waiting in line for Haunted Mansion and I asked them to pretend to like each other. They must have thought that was funny. I love these guys to the moon and back but holy cow do they fight!
I love this picture of us on Splash Mountain. We had an open seat so the cast member hand picked someone with a blue shirt so we’d match! The 4th person back doesn’t belong to us but it sure looks like she does!
This is one of my favorite ride photos. I’m in the back and I look like I’m just smiling like I’m standing in line while our friends in the front are on a wild ride. Then there’s my youngest. She’s sitting next to me in the back. Can you see her??
