You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much the past couple of weeks. I’ve been taking a little bit of time off to spend with my family. While we were in Disneyland my grandpa’s health took a really bad turn and he passed away shortly after our return. Luckily I was able to spend some time with him during his last conscious moments and his awesome sense of humor held strong until the end. I am so grateful my kids got a chance to know this great man that had such a strong presence in my life. He will be greatly missed but all the wonderful memories I have of him will continue to make me laugh and smile just the way he always did.
Then I took a trip to the Oregon coast with my family and was without internet for several days. It was a nice break! We had so much fun playing on the beach and riding our quads through the dunes. I came back a day early with my youngest to attend my grandpa’s celebration of life and the rest of the family returned the following day. I’m getting back into the swing of things before our next trip back to the Oregon coast — this time to Seaside to experience KOA’s deluxe cabins!
