Bakery on Main just launched a new superfood cereal and I’m in love. I’m usually not much of a breakfast eater but I’ve been eating Bunches of Crunches most mornings for the last week or so and am so satisfied. Literally. A one cup serving of this cereal fills me up! Sometimes when I’m being lazy, I even have a bowl for dinner!
Bunches of Crunches are clusters of crunchy chocolate goodness made with premium whole grains including certified gluten-free oats, ancient grains such as amaranth and millet and superfoods like chia seeds and cacao. Each serving contains an amazing 10 grams of whole grains! Bunches of Crunches are OU Kosher, free of cholesterol, dairy and casein free and are Non-GMO Project Verified. Each serving contains just 130 calories and 5 grams of fat.
Available in two varieties, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt with Chia and Coconut Cacao this cereal makes for a healthy and delicious breakfast or snack. I enjoy both flavors but prefer the Coconut Cacao flavor if I had to choose a favorite. The first bite of the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt caught me off guard. I should have been expecting it because of the name of the product but the slight salty flavor isn’t something I would normally expect in a cereal. After the first bite though I was onboard with the flavor.
I hope I can find this cereal locally because it’s really been helpful getting my day off to a good start. It curbs my hunger quickly and gives me sustained energy while also satisfying my sweet tooth! I don’t feel guilty at all for eating it because I know it’s good for me! It costs a bit more than I normally pay for cereal but I think it’s worth it. It’s probably weird to say this but a little goes a long way. I learned this the hard way when I poured myself what I considered a “normal” sized bowl of cereal. I was SO full when I finished it that I checked out the packaging for the serving size and realized I ate way more than I should have. A single cup of cereal is plenty and does a surprisingly good job of satisfying hunger!
