- Enjoy a “Stay-cation”- My kids are just 1 & 3 so it’s easiest to stay close to home. That’s not to say we can’t enjoy vacation activities along with the convenience of staying local. We plan on visiting the Woodland Park Zoo, Pike Place Market and probably taking in a music festival or two at the Seattle Center.
- Go to the Beach- you can’t go wrong with kids and beaches. Don’t forget the sand castle building materials and plenty of sunscreen! Oh, and a kite!
- Plan an Annual Trip- if your family hasn’t already, plan a trip to take every year. You’ll have fun anticipating and looking forward to something special. Our family goes camping at the Oregon coast complete with quad riding and day trips to Newport to visit the attractions there.
- Go Geocashing- never heard of it? Check out more here.
- Bring Back Ups- You never know when the weather might force you to stay inside. Bring a couple of board games, a deck of cards and anything you can do together as a family indoors.
